You won’t want to miss out on the always fun season-opening Halloween bonspiel at the Madison Curling Club. As many of you are aware, Brian Bergen retired from running this bonspiel after 23 years. Everyone at MCC extends our heartfelt thanks to Brian for all he has done, and our three new co-chairs are excited about this year’s event!

Entry fee is $180 per team ($160 for juniors). Registration chair Miranda Hofmann is expecting 48 teams and has 39 entries as of this writing, so get your team together soon. To enter, contact Miranda at mirandahofmann@gmail.com or download an entry form from the MCC website. First draw is at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, with other draws picking up at 4:00 on Friday. There will be a dinner Friday night and a pig roast Saturday night, along with a costume party and dancing.

Tim Hagen is kitchen chair and asks for your help as well as donations of cookies, bars and other snacks. Volunteers are also needed in the clubroom and on the ice.
