The Fowler is the premier annual intra-club men’s bonspiel for MCC members, featuring a wide variety of beers, camaraderie, and some decent enough curling. This year, the event will be held March 2nd – 4th, 2018 (Friday – Sunday). The point limit is 33 points per team. A -1 point designation is given to individuals who have never played in a game before. Former MCC members or other individuals with game experience are not allowed on teams.
Individuals seeking a team should go into the Fowler Bonspiel under the Leagues section in the members area of the MCC website to put your name on a list for others to view. If you are looking for a team member, refer to this list for available players. To register a team, you must sign up using the link provided in the member mailing list.
We are anticipating another spiel of great beer, great food, and good curling, and hope you all can join us! The Fowler has an emphasis on introducing new people to curling. If you have anyone that has wanted to check out curling, please bring them down. Come for the camaraderie, stay for the bacon.
