On Tuesday Dec 1st during the 4:30 Mansfield draw, a very unusual event occurred. Brent Ruhland and his team scored an 8-end. Such achievements should be given great publicity because of their rarity and to honor those who are lucky enough to achieve them. Typical of Brent, their success was not announced at the time on the ice or to the dinner crowd afterward.
The successful team was: Skip – Brent Ruhland, Third – Chris Sorenson, Second – Paul Beebe, Lead – Jim Hoelzel.
